Abandoned Haunted House Complex FAQ's

Can I go through just one haunted house? No, all customers must go through both haunted houses.

Do I have to wait in line for each haunted house? No, all customers will go directly from Hysteria Haunted House into Ambush Haunted House.

If I buy my ticket by the ticket booth closing time, can I still get in? Yes, the haunted houses close when the line ends. There may be situations on slow nights that you may be refused entry--so typically try to come at least 30 minutes before closing time.

Is it worth it to get the timed tickets? It depends--if it's a busy night--ABSOLUTELY. Unless you like waiting. Typically the busiest nights are Saturdays, closely followed by Fridays. Timed tickets give you covered waiting and a MUCH shorter waiting line.

When is the best time to come? Typically the lines are shortest early in the season or on Wednesday, Thursday, or Sundays. Typically the lines are longest the 3rd weekend in October. (NOT Halloween weekend!!)

Can I work here? Maybe--you must be at least 18 and be available a majority of hours when we are open. If so, you can apply online on our HIRING PAGE.

What is a VIP ticket? VIP Tickets allow customers to upgrade their ticket on-site to eliminate their wait outside. We limit the number of VIP tickets sold though, so on busy nights, they may not be immediately available. You can NOT purchase VIP tickets online. However, you CAN purchase VIP Timed Tickets--which are just like VIP tickets, except they are for a specific time that you choose.

Can I use my ticket on a different night? Yes, all tickets are good for the entire season. Unused Timed Tickets will be accepted as General Admission tickets after the entry time has passed.

Do you accept credit cards? No, unfortunately we don't. We do have an ATM on site, however, located next to our ticket windows.

Do you use strobe lights, fog, or disorienting effects? Yes, we use all of these items, as well as loud noises as you come through our place. If you feel that any of these will affect you in adverse ways, please do NOT come through our place.

Is it ok to come through if I'm pregnant? No, please wait and visit us next season. Although it'd make good PR, we'd hate to have to deliver a baby inside the haunted house, and of course want to make sure that nothing happens to your unborn child.

NOTE: Abandoned Haunted House Complex reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone. You will experience intense audio & lighting, extreme low visibility, uneven walkways, strobe lights, heavy fog or haze, damp or wet conditions, and a physically demanding environment. You should not participate if you are pregnant, have claustrophobia, are prone to seizures, or have heart or respiratory problems. You will not be admitted if you appear intoxicated or are wearing any form of temporary cast, medical brace or crutches.

No photography or video allowed inside the haunted houses. No smoking, drinking or eating inside the haunted houses. No running, touching props, and do not touch the actors.

If you violate any of these rules you may be asked to leave without a refund. There are NO REFUNDS. Enter at your own risk!
